An ancient Chippewa demon known as the Windigo is resurrected by a Native American teenager and his grandmother to protect their family from back-woods meth dealers, but they soon realize that the creature's uncontrollable lust for killing threatens everyone around them. As each killing strengthens the bond between the teenager and the Windigo, the family must urgently seek a method to break the curse before becoming the next victims of the bloodthirsty entity.
