Adolfo, a renowned short story writer, embarks on writing his first novel and gifts his young daughter Dalia the opportunity to create a character, which she imagines as a goat reminiscent of her beloved stuffed animal. Tragically, after Adolfo's passing when Dalia is 12, she is kidnapped by the story's characters who pull her into their world via a portal, making her part of "The Red Book." In this fantastical realm, Dalia teams up with the goat character to navigate challenges and confront other characters determined to seize the spotlight as the main protagonists. Despite feeling unsure about her abilities, Dalia learns that she alone can pen the final chapter of the novel. With just 12 hours on the clock, a blank page, and a pen, Dalia's journey inside the book uncovers secrets about her father's friendships and rivalries while forcing her to decide if she wishes to continue his legacy as a writer.
